Vietnam Airlines uses new aircraft for Hanoi – Moscow route
Vietnam’s national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will use the Dreamliner Boeing 787-9 - one of the most modern aircraft in its fleet – on the Hanoi – Moscow route.

Hanoi, (VNA) – Vietnam’s nationalflag carrier Vietnam Airlines will use the Dreamliner Boeing 787-9 - one of themost modern aircraft in its fleet – on the Hanoi – Moscow route.
The first Dreamliner Boeing 787-9 to fly onthe route is scheduled to land at Moscow Domodedovo Airport at 5pm on March 27.
Capable of accommodating 311 passengers, theairplane offers inflight services meeting 4-star international standards. Itcan save up to 20 percent of fuel compared to previous versions of Boeingaircraft.
Speaking at a ceremony to announce theevent, Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Ngo Duc Manh stated Vietnam Airlines’operation of Dreamliner Boeing 787-9 on the route showed Vietnam’s appreciationof its partnership with Russia.
Le Thanh Dung, head of Vietnam Airlinesrepresentative office in Russia, said the move reflects the airline’s intentionto consolidate its foothold in Russia and expand its network.
