Thang highlighted theflourishing ties between the two countries' Parties, States and people, as wellas the notable achievements made by the HCMA in training mid- and senior-levelofficials for Laos. The HCMA will closely workwith the LaoNational Academy of Politics and Public Administration to effectively carryout agreements between leaders of the two Parties and countries, as well asbetween the two academies, including building and standardising political theory training courses for Lao officials, he said. Yiapaoher, in reply, said hisvisit aims to shareexperience with the Vietnamese National Assembly in compiling a history book on the Lao legislature's 50 years of formation and development. Hewished that the two legislatures would jointly compile a history bookdocumenting their relationship. Informingthe host about his agenda, he said the delegation will also engage in sharing experience with the Vietnamese NA’s committeesand the Institute of Legislative Research in fine-tuning legal regulations,particularly in the building of the rule-of-law State and the local administrationsystem. Thang affirmed that the HCMA stands ready toassist Laos in compiling these two important books./.
The upcoming trip to Vietnam by Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone is expected to create new impulse for the special cooperation between the two countries, especially economic collaboration, making it a firm pillar of the bilateral ties.
Along with fostering the Laos - Vietnam great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation, Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone’s upcoming visit to Vietnam is expected to help bolster economic ties, said Chairman of the Laos - Vietnam Friendship Association and Minister of Technology and Communications of Laos Boviengkham Vongdara.

The country is willing to participate in collective efforts to promote cooperation and mobilise resources to advance the current priority issues of developing countries, such as trade, investment, infrastructure connectivity, making the most of scientific and technological advances for development, and people-to-people exchanges, Hang said.
During the negotiations, the US highly evaluated Vietnam’s goodwill and efforts, affirmed its appreciation for the bilateral relationship, acknowledged Vietnam’s proposals and concerns, and considered these an important basis for continuing discussions and moving towards a final agreement.
The Chairman stressed the need for stricter fiscal discipline, faster digital transformation, and more efficient management of State budget revenues and expenditures.
The ministry has instructed Vietnamese representative agencies in Israel, Iran, as well as those in neighbouring countries, to closely monitor the situation and request local authorities to ensure absolute safety for Vietnamese citizens living, studying, and working in high-risk areas.
