KualaLumpur (VNA) – A delegation of the Vietnamese education andtraining sector’s trade union led by its President Nguyen Ngoc An attended the37th ASEAN Council of Teachers plus the Republic of Korea (ACT +1) Conventionheld in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from September 15-17.

The eventthemed “Leading the future of education” attracted about 600 educationalmanagers and teachers from ASEAN countries and the RoK.

It included a seminar, a session fornational reports, and four sessions on supportingteaching and learning through today's digital education development, experiencein teaching digital literacy, and empowering collaboration in futureclassrooms.

TheVietnamese delegation presented a national report on combining face-to-face andonline teaching to convey knowledge to learners at all levels and a thematicreport on digital skills training in schools through sample lectures.

Head of the Vietnamese delegation Ansaid that they shared experiences, challenges, andopportunities during educational reforms.

Withinthe framework of the eventꩲ, the Vietnamౠese delegation also participated inexchange activities, and cultural performances and introduced Vietnamese coffeeto international friends./.
