Vietnam attends ASEAN Family Day in Czech Republic
The Vietnamese Embassy joined its counterparts of Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand in the annual ASEAN Family Day held in Prague, the Czech Republic, on November 10.
Prague (VNA) – The Vietnamese Embassy joined its counterparts of Indonesia,Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand in the annual ASEAN Family Day held inPrague, the Czech Republic, on November 10.
The event was attended by ASEAN ambassadors to the Czech Republic, theirfamilies and several families of diplomatic officials of the host nation.
According to Vietnamese Ambassador Ho Minh Tuan, who is also Rotary Chair ofthe ASEAN Committee in Prague (ACP), said the event is of significance toenhancing mutual understanding among ASEAN missions through games, artperformances and cuisine festival.
The event also helps Czech guests understand more about the ASEAN bloc as wellas solidarity among its members, he noted.
In the past years, the Vietnamese Embassy inthe Netherlands have actively participated in ACP’s activities, representingits responsibility for the ASEAN community as well as popularising Vietnameseimages to international friends.-VNA

During the negotiations, the US highly evaluated Vietnam’s goodwill and efforts, affirmed its appreciation for the bilateral relationship, acknowledged Vietnam’s proposals and concerns, and considered these an important basis for continuing discussions and moving towards a final agreement.
The Chairman stressed the need for stricter fiscal discipline, faster digital transformation, and more efficient management of State budget revenues and expenditures.
