Vietnam cables sympathy message over Pohang earthquake
Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh has sent a message of sympathy for Pohang city in the Republic of Korea over a recent earthquake that caused serious human and property losses.

Hanoi (VNA) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minhhas sent a message of sympathy for Pohang city in the Republic of Korea over arecent earthquake that caused serious human and property losses.
Themessage was sent to RoK Minister of Foreign Affairs Kang Kyung-Wha.
A5.4-magnitude quake hit Pohang on November 15, injuring about 80 people and damagingat least 5,569 private establishments and 582 public ones, according to the RoK’sNational Disaster and Safety Control.-VNA
President Tran Dai Quang offered his sympathy to his Mexican counterpart Enrique Peña Nieto over the heavy losses in human lives and property caused by the strong earth quake on September 19.
Venezuelan Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza on November 13 sent a message of sympathy to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh over losses caused by recent floods.
Cheng stressed that this is third time PM Chinh has attended the meeting and he is among the few senior government officials participating in this year's event, which is considered as a rare and commendable gesture.
