Hanoi (VNA) – The third Strategic SecurityDialogue at the deputy ministerial level between Vietnam and China took placein Hanoi on November 4.

The event, chaired by Vietnamese Deputy Minister of PublicSecurity Bui Van Nam and Chinese Deputy Minister of State Security Tang Chao,aimed to review the results of the implementation of signed cooperation agreements, and discuss and agree on orientation to deepen the bilateral ties andperfect the bilateral cooperative mechanism.

Speaking at the event, Nam said he believes that with thespirit of friendship and mutual trust, the two sides would exchange opinions onissues of shared concern and assess impact of the regional and internationalsecurity developments on each country’s national security and politicalstability.

Tang spoke highly of the outcomes of cooperation between theVietnamese Ministry of Public Security and the Chinese Ministry of StateSecurity.

He hailed the significance of this dialogue as its outcomescan help boost the two countries’ comprehensive strategic cooperativepartnership.-VNA
