At his working session with Cuban officials onMarch 31, Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (VGCL)Dang Ngoc Tung said Secretary General Nascimiento’s visit was ademonstration of the unity and friendship between the two agencies andcountries.
While congratulating Nascimiento onthe success of the 20th Congress of the CTC, Tung expressed his beliefthat the two sides will continue to coordinate and build the strongrelationship between the two countries’ workers and unions.
Expressing his delight at the enthusiastic reception from the VGCL,Secretary General Nascimiento thanked the VGCL’s assistance to the CTCin recent years and hoped the visit would enhance the relationshipbetween the two agencies and the diplomatic relations between the twonations.
The delegation is scheduled to paytheir respects to the late President Ho Chi Minh and meet with StatePresident Truong Tan Sang and other union agencies.-VNA
