Vietnam, Cuba reinforce judicial connections

A delegation of the Supreme People’s Court of Vietnam led by Vice Chief Justice Nguyen Van Hanh paid a working visit to Cuba from November 7-14 to boost the countries’ judicial cooperation.

Havana (VNA)🌜 – A delegation of the Supreme People’s Court of Vietnam led by Vice Chief Justice Nguyen Van Hanh paid a working visit to Cuba from November 7 – 14 in an effort to boost the countries’ judicial cooperation.

At talks during the visit, the Vietnamese delegation and officials of the People’s Supreme Court of Cuba headed by President Ruben Remigio Ferro presented their respective nations’ judicial systems, trial process and challenges facing their court sectors.
They also shared experience in fulfilling new missions amid socio-economic changes and underlined the importance of exchanges to their court sectors’ development as well as crime prevention efforts. On this occasion, the People’s Courts of Vietnam’s Hanoi and Quang Ninh province signed cooperation agreements with the courts of Havana and Cienfuegos province. During its stay, the Vietnamese delegation also met with Cuban Minister of Justice Maria Esther Reus Gonzalez and Prosecutor General Dario Delgado Cura and visited some localities of the Caribbean country.-VNA
