Vietnam Cultural Week in Rome, Italy kicked off on January 12 with an exhibition on the distinguished traditional values of the Southeast Asian country.
Vietnam Cultural Week in Rome, Italy kicked off on January 12 with anexhibition on the distinguished traditional values of the SoutheastAsian country.

On display are prominent Vietnamese artefacts,including the Gong in the Central Highlands region, handmade brocadeitems, pottery, traditional clothes, and musical instruments. Photos andfilms featuring famous tourism destinations, including Ha Long Bay, HoiAn ancient town, and My Son Sanctuary, are also showcased.

The exhibition offers live traditional music performances and the option to taste classic Vietnamese flavours and cuisine.

Apart from the exhibition, the cultural week also covers a wide rangeof workshops and activities aimed at boosting cooperation betweenVietnam and Italy in tourism, trade, and cinema.

Intending topromote the Vietnamese image abroad, the event will run until 26, aheadof the country’s larger participation in the Milan world fair EXPO 2015.-VNA

🌌 Vietnam re-elected to 2005 UNESCO Convention’s Intergovernmental Committee

This is the first time since the adoption of the Convention that a country has served two consecutive terms on the Committee. 🅷 Exhibition features President Ho Chi Minh as founder of Vietnam’s revolutionary press

The exhibition showcases more than 100 valuable documents and artifacts, divided into two main parts: “Journalist Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh” and “President Ho Chi Minh – Founder and Mentor of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.” This is an opportunity to recall the late leader’s journalism journey and affirm his exceptional role in founding and guiding the revolutionary press in Vietnam.
