Vietnam Design Week slated for November 5-11

The Vietnam Design Week 2022 will take place in Hanoi, Hue and Ho Chi Minh City from November 5-11.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnam Design Week 2022 will take place inHanoi, Hue and Ho Chi Minh City from November 5-11.

Under the theme “Beyond Expectations”, the week is intended to seekand honour outstanding products and designers in practical fields that servehuman’s everyday life – Communication, Living, Decor & Object, Clothing,and Public Art.

It will feature a series of events such as displays, seminars,and shows, aiming to stimulate the development of the cultural and innovativeindustry in general and designing in particular.

The organizing board has so far selected 31 entries for completionfor the final of the Designed by VietNam contest.

The Vietnam Design Week is an annual event organized by the Vietnam Institute of Culture and Arts Studies (VICAS) underthe Ministry of Culture, Sports & Tourism./.

🌟 Vietnamese culture takes centre stage in Korean city

𝕴 Vietnam re-elected to 2005 UNESCO Convention’s Intergovernmental Committee

This is the first time since the adoption of the Convention that a country has served two consecutive terms on the Committee. The outcome shows the trust and recognition that member states have given Vietnam for its efforts and achievements in carrying out and promoting the Convention, as well as for its active role, strong standing, and growing credibility at UNESCO.

The exhibition showcases more than 100 valuable documents and artifacts, divided into two main parts: “Journalist Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh” and “President Ho Chi Minh – Founder and Mentor of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.” This is an opportunity to recall the late leader’s journalism journey and affirm his exceptional role in founding and guiding the revolutionary press in Vietnam.
