Deputy PrimeMinister Nguyen Thien Nhan made the statement at a reception for thecouncil of the Ho Chi Minh City-based VGU, which was led by Udo Corts,the former Minister for Science and the Arts of thefederal state of Hessen , in Hanoi on July 10.
Showing his delight at the university’s new developments, Deputy PM Nhansaid he expects that VGU would help Vietnamese students land jobs atGerman enterprises operating in Vietnam in addition to its main task ofteaching German.
Udo Corts, for his part, expressed his hopesthat VGU will be not only a training and research institute but alsohelp further economic cooperation and development between Vietnam andGermany.
He wishes for the Vietnamese Government’s assistanceso the university will be able to offer low-cost international-standardtraining services to Vietnamese students.-VNA

It is also a moment for Vietnam’s media to accelerate its progress and figure out what the “revolutionary press” means in a new era.
