Vietnam, Germany’s Hessen state step up economic cooperation

Frankfurt (VNA) – Enterprises from the German state of Hessen see potentialto invest in Vietnam, heard a conference held by the Economic Council ofGermany’s Christian Democratic Union (CDU) in Frankfrut am Main on April 24.
The event was attended by nearly 40 businesses from Hessen state.
Carola Paschola, an official from the CDU’s Economic Council, briefedattendants about economic cooperation between Vietnam and Germany. Also,Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany Doan Xuan Hung highlighted Vietnam’s standoutachievements and investment opportunities in the country.
Vietnam and Germany have enjoyed fruitful relations after 40 years ofdiplomatic relations, with the two countries upgrading ties to a strategicpartnership in 2011.
Germany is a leading economic partner of Vietnam in Europe while Hessen statehas made huge contributions to elevating cooperation between the two nations.
The economic collaboration is shored up by the Vietnamese people community inGermany as well as German leaders and business communities’ interest in investingin the Southeast Asian country.
At the conference, German enterprises also shared their stories of successfuloperation in Vietnam.-VNA
