Vietnam’s Saigon Beer in on tap at the 13 th International Beer Festival whichopened on August 7 in the German capital of Berlin.
The HM Sky companycoordinated with the Vietnam Trade Promotion, Investment, Culture and TourismCentre (VIETHaus) in Germany serve up the Vietnamese beer, traditional foods andhandicraft products at the festival.
The annual festival drew theparticipation of 300 beer companies from 86 countries worldwide. This year’sevent is the biggest festival of its kind in Germany since 1996.
Among 2,000 kinds of beer displayed at the event, Belgium isconsidered a stand-out showcasing 12 beer firms in Berlin with high-grade sudssuch as cherry and St. Louis Kriek.
The 2009 Int’l Beer Festival isheld along Karl Marx avenue in Berlin , divided into 21 areas. It includesopen-air stages and a system of restaurants to attract millions of tourists fromGermany and around the world. The festival attracts crowds of Vietnameseliving in Germany to taste Saigon Beer and traditional Vietnamese food, buyhandicraft products and enjoy music shows performed by Vietnamese artists./.
Nguyen Trong Nha Uyen has made history for Vietnam’s dancesport by clinching a bronze medal in the solo Latin category at the WDSF World Championship 2025 in Germany.
The ambassador noted that among the 300,000 Vietnamese residing in the RoK, around 3,000 are living in Pyeongtaek and contributing actively to the local economy. Ho expressed his hope that the local authorities will continue support the overseas Vietnamese community in the city.
This is the first time since the adoption of the Convention that a country has served two consecutive terms on the Committee.
