Cuong took the occasion to express his joyat seeing the rapid changes in Laos . He reported to the Laominister the results of his talks with the Lao Journalists’ Associationon their bilateral cooperation last year.
He saidthe two associations have stepped up their exchanges and sharing ofexperiences as well as worked together to cover activities during theVietnam-Laos Friendship and Solidarity Year 2012, thus helping raise themasses’ awareness about the preservation and development of the specialrelationship between the two countries.
In thecoming time, two sides will continue to strengthen their cooperation,particularly in professional activities from central to local levels.
For his part, the minister highly spoke of the effective help of the Vietnam Journalist Association.
He suggested that the two associations pay more attention to educatingyoung people in the two countries’ special relations.-VNA
Under the leadership of President Ho Chi Minh and the CPV, President Cuong said, the press has been a steadfast force on the ideological and cultural front, rallying the masses to pursue national aspirations.
