Speaking at the opening ceremony on March 16, VFF Technical Director Koshida Takeshi said this course serves as a stepping stone for aspiring coaches transitioning from playing and local club training roles. By equipping them with fundamental coaching expertise, the programme aims to enhance player development at both amateur and professional levels. The course also covers experience-sharing sessions on youth team training, tournament organisation, women’s football coaching, first aid, and sports medicine. Beyond theoretical lessons, participants will engage in on-field practical training, ensuring a well-rounded understanding of the AFC C-level coaching certification requirements.
