Vietnam move up one place on FIFA rankings

Vietnam’s national football team has moved up one place to the 137th in the world Football Federation (FIFA) rankings for December, according to the Vietnam Football Federation.

Despite losing to Malaysia inthe semi-finals at the Southeast Asian Football Championships or AFFSuzuki Cup, Vietnam still rank second in Southeast Asia, behind thePhilippines.

The following teams in the region are Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

In Asia, Vietnam is placed in the 20th position. Iran jumped fivespots to leapfrog Japan, who are down one place, for the top place.

The world’s top three remain unchanged, namely Germany, Argentina, and Colombia.-VNA
