At the reception, Chuong congratulated Bounpon Bouttanavong on his appointment as Lao Deputy Prime Minister.
He informed the host of the outcomes of the talks between the VPC andthe Lao Committee for Peace and Solidarity, during which both sidesagreed to increase the exchange of visits. The two committees will alsowork closely with each other at the ASEAN People’s Forum to be held inMalaysia in 2015 and Laos in 2016, Chuong said.
Deputy PM Bounpon Bouttanavong highly valued the partnership between thetwo committees and suggested they strengthen the sharing of informationand experience for more effective cooperation, contributing tofostering the special ties between the two countries for peace,stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.-VNA
