VietnamNational Assembly Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan made thisstatement at a meeting with visiting Chairman of Romanian House ofRepresentatives Committee on Foreign Relations Korodi Attila, in Hanoion Nov. 8.

Ngan describes Korodi Attila’s visitas a practical move that contributes to strengthening cooperationbetween the two countries’ legislative bodies.

Shenoted with pleasure the fruitful development in the friendship andparliamentary cooperation between the two countries and spoke highly ofthe Romanian House of Representatives’ establishment of theRomania-Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Group.

Vietnam ’s NA is establishing the Parliamentary FriendshipOrganisation, including the Vietnam-Romania Parliamentary FriendshipGroup, Ngan said.

She thanked the RomanianParliament for creating conditions for Vietnamese NA delegations tostudy and exchange experiences, saying she hoped that the friendship andcooperation between the two legislative bodies will develop further.

For his part, Korodi Attila said Romania wishesto boost relations between the two legislative bodies as well as the twocountries.

Romania is ready to work as a bridgethat links Vietnam with the European market, he said, expressing hopethat Vietnam will help Romania enhance trade relations with Asiancountries.

On the same day, Ngan witnessed thesigning of a protocol on cooperation between Vietnam ’s NA Office andthe Secretariat of the Romanian House of Representatives./.
