Kiev (VNA) – A delegationled by Vietnamese Ambassador to Ukraine Ngu🦩yen Anh Tuan attended the 24th UkraineInternational Travel Market in Kiev on October 4-6.

On display at the Vietnamese boothwere images of the country’s landscapes and people as well as its famousdestinations, attracting visitors and tourism businesses. Vietnam also attended seminars held duringthe event to provide more information for travel agencies of Ukraine and othercountries. The Ukraine International TravelMarket was attended by the United Nations World Tourism Organisation along with200 travel agencies of Ukraine and nearly 30 other countries, serving anestimated 15,000 visitors. It is held twice a year as one of thebiggest events for Ukraine’s travel industry. In 2016, the travel fair drewabout 14,000 visitors. Tourism is among major fields ofcooperation between Vietnam and Ukraine. Two-way trade has grown, with a 12percent rise in 2016 to 264.2 million USD and a 19.1 percent increaseyear-on-year in the first seven months of 2017.-VNA
