PhnomPenh (VNA) – The Association of Vietnamese Cambodian Doctors, onAugust 20, offered health checkups for and presented gifts to disadvantagedpeople in Daun Keo city in Cambodia’s Takeo province.
Theevent benefited more than 200 people, with costs covered by donations fromphilanthropists, including Vietnamese enterprises.
PhangPin, head of the People’s Committee at Daun Keo’s Rokar Khnong ward, said theactivity not only provides medical support for the poor community but alsocontributes to Vietnam – Cambodia solidarity.

As many as 500 impoverished Cambodian patients will receive free health check-ups and treatment by Vietnamese and Cambodian doctors from September 10-12.
