Vientiane (VNA) – A delegation of the Vietnamese Embassy in Laosand Vietnam’s diplomatic offices in the country offered flowers at the statueof late Lao President Kaysone Phomvihane in the Kaysone Phomvihane Museum onDecember 11 on the occasion of his 100th birth anniversary (December13, 1920-2020).

Trinh Thi Tam from the Vietnamese embassy, and thedelegation devoted one minute of silence to commemorate the late President –the beloved leader of Lao people and a close friend of Vietnam’s Party, Stateand people.

She said that the embassy and diplomatic offices of Vietnamwill continue coordinating with Lao offices in nurturing and developing the Vietnam-Laos,Laos-Vietnam special cooperation.

She wished the bilateral great friendship, specialsolidarity and comprehensive cooperation will last forever, and affirmed thatPresident Kaysone Phomvihane will live forever in Laos’ revolutionary cause aswell as the Laos-Vietnam special relations./.
