Hanoi (VNA) - A Vietnamese movie projectnamed “Than Duoc” (Sesame Has Its Soul) has won an award of the Taiwan CreativeContent Agency (TAICCA).
The TAICCA award forms part of the 16th Networkof Asian Fantastic Films (NAFF) project market under the 27th BucheonInternational Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN) which took place in the Republicof Korea (RoK) from June 29 to July 7.
The film project, directed by Oscar Duong andproduced by Hang Trinh, was the only Vietnamese representative to clinch the awardin the “It Project” category, which is designed for those in the contentdevelopment stage.
“Sesame Has Its Soul” tells the story of Vietnamesewomen who immigrate to the RoK and their hidden pain.
The BIFAN brought together 262 film projects from many countries. /.

The U23 competition will run from June 16 to 22, followed by the U17 event from June 23 to 28, while athletes competing in the U23 category will undergo weight and skill checks ahead of the matches starting June 18, while similar checks for U17 athletes will take place before June 23.
Vietnam continues to sit just behind continental powerhouses Japan, the Republic of Korea, Australia, China, and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).
