Vietnamese firms join charity fair in Canada

Vietnamese businesses brought their products to a charity fair held recently by the Heads of Mission Spouses Association (HOMSA) in Canada in support of local women on the occasion of Mother’s Day (May 12).

Ottawa (VNA) – Vietnamese businesses brought their products to a charity fair held recently by the Heads of Mission Spouses Association (HOMSA) in Canada in support of local women on the occasion of Mother’s Day (May 12).

Apart from tea and coffee of Cactus Café and Song Hy Tra, Vietnam also displayed its ceramic products, said Tran Thu Quynh, Trade Counselor at the Vietnamese Embassy in Canada, noting that through the event, the Southeast Asian nation hopes to promote its tea culture and traditional products to international friends.

The fair attracted the participation of more than 30 foreign offices in Canada, with its proceeds to be contributed to the fund for local women.

The HOMSA is set to create oppor𝔉tunities for spouses of diplomats in Canada to meet, interact, and learn about the host country./.
