Vietnamese, Korean student cultural exchange event held in Long An

Twelve outstanding teams of students from Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) entered the finals of the “Shining Student Talent” competition held in the southern province of Long An on November 29.

Long An (VNA) 🎃– Twelve outstanding teams of students from Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) entered the finals of the “Shining Student Talent” competition held in the southern province of Long An on November 29.

The competition was co-organised by the provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Zenith International Vietnam Ltd Company, aiming to introduce and promote the unique cultural heritage of Long An to domestic and international friends and tourists, provide a platform for young people to show their talents, and an opportunity for Vietnamese and Korean students to connect with each other. The competition was part of the second Long An Culture, Sports, and Tourism Week 2024 lasting from November 28 to December 4.
Speaking at the event, Secretary of the province’s Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Tran Hai Phu said that the competition serves as a cultural and musical exchange platform between students from Vietnam and the RoK.
The performances at the finals included singing, singing and dancing, contemporary dance, folk dance, and modern dance styles such as hip-hop and popping. Phu said that the event is expected to contribute to enhancing the relationship between the two countries, making Korean partners to have good impressions on Long An and attracting investors to the province./.
