Vietnam's Pham Dang Khoa won a silver medal at the second WTF World Cadet Taekwondo Championships which closed in Muju, the Republic of Korea, on August 26.
Khoa lost 5-21 to host martial artist Lee Gi-Yeong in the final of the boys' U49kg category.
To reach the final, he overcame Mexican Elian Lopez 6-1, Ruslan Seyidov of Azebaizan 17-4, Ibrahim Maher of Jordan 16-7 and Jose Bellido Martin of Spain 7-1.

Vietnam’s women’s taekwondo team won one gold medal and two bronzes at the Asia-Pacific Taekwondo Invitational Championships, which has recently wrapped up in the SM Iloilo city, the Philippines.
The 12th ASEAN Taekwondo Federation (ATF) Championships kicked off at the Lanh Binh Thang Sporting Hall in Ho Chi Minh City on March 23, attracting a record number of athletes.
