Kuala Lumpur (VNA) ⛎- As part of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s official visit to Malaysia and attendance at the 46th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits, his spouse Le Thi Bich Tran visited the Jing Sun Welfare Society in Kuala Lumpur on May 27 morning.

During the visit, Tan Thim Huat, founder of the society, briefed Tran on its operations and development journey. Established 15 years ago, the centre is currently home to 30 disadvantaged children. Tran toured the classrooms and spent time talking with the children. She expressed her appreciation for the society’s dedication to providing care and support for children in need.
She expected that the centre will continue its efforts in supporting vulnerable groups, helping them gain access to essential community-based social services. Tran also motivated the children to study hard and strive to become useful members of society.
On this occasion, Tran presented gifts to the children and posed for commemorative photos. In return, the children offered handmade cards to express their gratitude and appreciation for her visit. Tan Thim Huat thanked Tran for her visit, describing it as a great honour that brought warmth and encouragement to the society./.
