Vietnamese racers to compete in int'l powerboat tournament in Binh Dinh

Vietnamese racers will compete in the Formula 1 powerboat race F1H20 Grand Prix and Aquabike Grand Prix 2024, which are scheduled to be held in the south-central province of Binh Dinh in late March, said Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Pham Anh Tuan.

 Binh Dinh (VNA) – Vietnamese racers will compete in the Formula 1 powerboatrace F1H20 Grand Prix and Aquabike Grand Prix 2024, which are scheduled to be held in the south-central province of Binh Dinh in late ꦆMarch, said Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Pham Anh Tuan.

Two athletes with two powerboats with the support of professional technicians are expected to join in the tournament, according to Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Binh Dinh F1 JSC - the event organiser.

The tournament, hosted by the Union InternationaleMotonautique (UIM), will gather 70 racers from 30 countries across the world.

Quy Nhon city of Binh Dinh has been chosen as the venue of the tournament as itsatisfies all the conditions to become the world's top place for hosting theevent.

As scheduled, the Aquabike Grand Prix Binh Dinh 2024 will take place fromMarch 22-24, while the F1H20 Grand Prix will be held from March 29-31, 2024.

A number ofಞ activities will be held in the framework of the events, includinga food festival and live music🌼 performances./.
