Hanoi (VNA) –🍒 Head coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang has officially announced the 14-player roster for the Vietnam women's futsal team ahead of their departure to Myanmar for the 2025 AFC Women's Futsal Asian Cup qualifiers.
The squad includes two goalkeepers, Tran Thi Hai Yen and Ngo Nguyen Thuy Linh, along with 12 field players, namely Bui Thi Trang, Trinh Nguyen Thanh Hang, Le Thi Thanh Ngan, Nguyen Phuong Anh, Tran Nguyet Vi, Nguyen Thi Van Anh, K’ Thua, Tran Thi Thuy Trang, Tran Thi Lan Mai, Tran Thi Thu Xuan, Nguyen Thi Tu Anh, and Bien Thi Hang.
Hoang noted that the team has recently played two friendly matches, successfully meeting all technical objectives set by the coaching staff and is now as prepared as they can be for the competition.
The 14 players are in peak form and align well with the coaches’ tactical strategies, he said. Their goal is not only to advance past the qualifiers but also to secure the top spot in their group. Vietnam are set to compete in Group D, where they will face hosts Myanmar on January 15, Macau (China) on January 17, and Taiwan (China) on January 19./.

Vietnam made a strong start in the ASEAN Women’s Futsal Championship 2024, defeating Myanmar 5-2 in their opening match at the Philsports Arena in Manila, the Philippines, on November 17.
The ambassador noted that among the 300,000 Vietnamese residing in the RoK, around 3,000 are living in Pyeongtaek and contributing actively to the local economy. Ho expressed his hope that the local authorities will continue support the overseas Vietnamese community in the city.
