Vietnam’s judo secures berth for Rio Olympic Games

Hanoi (VNA) – Van Ngoc Tu won the 19th Olympic berth for Vietnam after the International Judo🐻 Federation announced its latest rankings on May 31.

Following the ranking, Tu is athlete No. 44 in the women’s 48kg class, meaning that she will complete in the Rio Games this summer.
It is the second time that Tu has qualified for the biggest global sporting event.
In her debut in 2012 in London, Tu was disqualified in the first round. Before Tu, 18 athletes have found their slots in badminton, rowing, swimming, and shooting , apart from fencing, athletics, gymnastics, wrestling and weightlifting.-VNA
