The 1.1-kilometre lantern road, embellished with more than 3,000 colourful lanterns across four areas, currently holds the title of Vietnam’s longest lantern road, as proffered by the Vietnam Record Association on August 29.
The street’s central area features Vietnam’s traditional paper lanterns made of local paper and bamboo structures. Visitors will also enjoy a fairytale world filled with cartoon characters.
Other sections display artwork which reflects the culture of Japan, Indonesia and Singapore.
The event, along with numerous activities including games, lion danc𒉰es and drum performan🍎ces, will run until September 27.-VNA
