Vietnam’s NA hopes to tighten ties with Argentine National Congress
The Vietnamese National Assembly (NA) wants and is willing to cooperate with the Argentine Senate and Chamber of Deputies in both bilateral and multilateral aspects, NA Vice Chairman Do Ba Ty told visiting Argentine Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship Jorge Faurie on July 31.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnamese National Assembly (NA)wants and is willing to cooperate with the Argentine Senate and Chamber ofDeputies in both bilateral and multilateral aspects, NA Vice Chairman Do Ba Tytold visiting Argentine Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship Jorge Faurie onJuly 31.
Vietnam always considers Argentina its leading partner inthe Latin American region, and hopes the two sides will intensify theirstrategic partnership, particularly in economy, trade and investment, Tyaffirmed.
He spoke highly of the strengthened friendship between thetwo legislative bodies, welcoming the establishment of the Argentine Chamber ofDeputies’ Friendship Parliamentarians’ Group with Vietnam on July 5.
The official suggested both sides increase delegationexchanges, intensify collaboration and experience sharing in law making andenforcement, and create favourable conditions for their businesses to cooperatein order to gradually balance two-way trade.
Fraurie, in turn, expressed his delight to visit Vietnam onthe occasion of the 45th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties.
He said he hopes his visit offers a chance to promote thetrade ties, including setting up joint ventures to produce goods, especiallybio-products, for export to third countries.
Argentina is willing to share its experience with Vietnam inthe fight against human and drug trafficking, he affirmed.-VNA
Vietnam and Argentina hold potential to push bilateral trade to 5 billion USD in the next few years, heard a commercial exchange event in Ho Chi Minh City on June 4.

During the negotiations, the US highly evaluated Vietnam’s goodwill and efforts, affirmed its appreciation for the bilateral relationship, acknowledged Vietnam’s proposals and concerns, and considered these an important basis for continuing discussions and moving towards a final agreement.
The Chairman stressed the need for stricter fiscal discipline, faster digital transformation, and more efficient management of State budget revenues and expenditures.
The ministry has instructed Vietnamese representative agencies in Israel, Iran, as well as those in neighbouring countries, to closely monitor the situation and request local authorities to ensure absolute safety for Vietnamese citizens living, studying, and working in high-risk areas.
