Vietnam’s senior military officers visit Singapore
A high-ranking delegation of the Vietnam People’s Army is paying an official visit to Singapore from February 28 to March 2 at the invitation of Chief of the Defence Force of Singapore Melvyn Ong.

Hanoi (VNA) – A high-ranking delegation of the Vietnam People’s Army ispaying an official visit to Singapore from February 28 to March 2 at theinvitation of Chief of the Defence Force of Singapore Melvyn Ong.
The delegation is led by Sen. Lt. Gen. Phan VanGiang – member of the Party Central Committee and the Central MilitaryCommission’s standing board, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’sArmy, and Deputy Minister of National Defence.
During this trip, the two sides are set to shareexperience in military building, humanitarian assistance and disasterrelief.
They will review the outcomes of bilateralcooperation in the recent past and work out measures to promote result-orienteddefence ties, thereby further developing the friendship and mutual trustbetween the states, militaries and peoples of Vietnam and Singapore.
Additionally, international and regional issuesof shared concern will also be raised for discussion.-VNA
