Hanoi (VNA) – A seminarpromoting Vietnam’s tourism in Kuwait was co-organised by the Embassy ofVietnam in Kuwait and the Western Asian country’s Chamber of Commerce andIndustry on December 12.
The event was participated by nearly30 travel agencies of Kuwait and representatives of Emirates Airlines and QatarAirways, two major carriers in the Middle East which are operating flights toVietnam.
At the seminar, Vietnamese touroperator Vietravel briefed the participants on the potential and growth ofVietnam’s tourism over the years, along with tourism products that meet demandof holidaymakers from Kuwait and other Gulf countries.
Representatives from EmiratesAirlines and Qatar Airways also introduced air routes from Kuwait to Vietnamand price support for travel tours from Kuwait.
The event formed part of a series ofactivities of the Vietnamese Embassy to tap into the high quality touristmarket of Kuwait which is worth 13 billion USD per year.
Following the seminar, the embassy willjoin hands with Vietravel and Kuwaiti leading travel company Souq Safar toarrange activities to introduce travel tours to Vietnam and the country’scuisine and music to Kuwaiti people. -VNA
