Berlin (VNA)🔥 – Vietnam’s U20football team lost to U23 BorussiaMonchengladbach 0-1 in a friendly match on April 19, part of their two-weektraining course in Germany to prepare for the upcoming FIFA U20 World Cup inthe Republic of Korea.

The squad will meet U21Roda JC of the Netherlands at Seghemanstraat Stadium on April 23 and Fortuna 05Dusseldorf on April 26 in Duisburg before returning home on April 28 to preparefor a friendly match with Argentina’s U20 team. Vietnam is in Group E with France, Honduras and New Zealand at theFIFA U20 World Cup scheduled to take place from May 20 to June 11. The first and second teams of each group andfour third place squads with the best performances will be qualified for thenext round. This is the second time Vietnam competes at aworld football tournament after its national fulsal team attended the FutsalWorld Cup in Colombia last year.-VNA

🌼 Vietnam re-elected to 2005 UNESCO Convention’s Intergovernmental Committee
