Vinh Phuc (VNA) – The tourism sector of the northern province ofVinh Phuc has thrived in recent years thanks to the locality’s infrastructuredevelopment policies.

This year, Vinh Phucestimates to welcome 5.2 million tourists, including 40,200 foreigners, higherthan the figures of 3.8 million holiday-makers and 28,000 foreigners of 2016.

The province settargets of serving 6 million visitors, including 43,500 foreigners, and earning1.91 trillion VND (82 million USD) in 2019.

To that end, localleaders have directed authorised agencies to soon complete infrastructure, andincrease the quality of tourism services to better serve tourists, especiallyduring the New Year and lunar New Year (Tet) holidays.

Business units oftourism services were required to publicise their prices, intensify food safetyand hygiene, and ensure security and order.

Bordering Hanoicapital city, Vinh Phuc has become an ideal destination for short holidays. Itstourist attractions include Tay Thien site, Tam Dao National Park, Flamingo DaiLai, and FLC Vinh Phuc resorts.-VNA
