Hanoi (VNA) - The 'Run to Jeju – Jeju Spring Virtual Run 2021' willtake place on April 1-25 on the 84RACE platform.
The virtual race is organised by the Korea Tourism Organisation in Vietnam andJeju Tourism Marketing Office to connect people who love sports and tourismthroughout the country to learn about the beauty of Jeju Island.
With the motto 'RUN — Refresh Urself in Nature', the competition will create aplayground for runners, encourage a sporting attitude and call people to livehealthily.
The event will introduce the beauty of Jeju Island in spring with cherryblossoms, a route through a forest and a romantic coastal route. Participantscan choose the categories of 10km, 21km, 55km and 100km using the app STRAVA torun.
Many prizes including a Garmin Forerunner Watch will be granted to participantswho are early birds to the competition and those who have the bestachievements.
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, many virtual races have been opened bringing new experiencesfor participants./.
Over 1,500 runners joined the Olympic Run Day for Public Health 2021 in the central city of Da Nang on March 27, which was held by the municipal Department of Culture and Sports.

The U23 competition will run from June 16 to 22, followed by the U17 event from June 23 to 28, while athletes competing in the U23 category will undergo weight and skill checks ahead of the matches starting June 18, while similar checks for U17 athletes will take place before June 23.
Vietnam continues to sit just behind continental powerhouses Japan, the Republic of Korea, Australia, China, and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).
