Members of the rejuvenated team grabbed one gold, three silver and four bronze medals.

Theonly gold belonged to young talent Nguyen Thanh Tung in the men'staijiquan (supreme ultimate fist) event. Tung is one of Vietnam's hopesfor gold at the upcoming Southeast Asian Games in Indonesia next month.

China,the motherland of wushu, proved their power and the topped podium with16 golds, followed by Iran with six golds and Hong Kong with two./.
