Vsmart smart phones distributed in Spain

VinSmart Company, a subsidiary of Vingroup, announced on March 20 that its Vsmart smartphones would be distributed in Spain by Media Markt.

Hanoi (VNS/VNA) - VinSmart Company, asubsidiary of Vingroup, announced on March 20 that its Vsmart smartphones wouldbe distributed in Spain by Media Markt.

The Vsmart smartphone is the first Vingroupproduct introduced in Europe, showing the group’s ambition to bring Vietnamesetechnology to the international market.

“Spain is an extremely important market forVsmart, the first foreign market Vsmart set foot on, through a combination withBQ - Spain’s leading technology company that Vsmart currently owns 51 percentof the shares. Spain will also be Vsmart’s gateway to conquer the Europeanmarket,” said Nguyen Thi Bich Phuong, Deputy General Director of Marketing,Vsmart Company, at the launching ceremony in Spain.

Vsmart products will be distributed throughnearly 90 stores of Media Markt, a leading consumer electronics retailer withmore than 35 years of experience and a presence in 13 countries.

The four models of Vsmart smartphones to bedistributed in Spain are Joy1, Joy1 , Active1 and Active1. Of which, Active 1and Joy 1 will be introduced in the first stage, followed by Active 1 and Joy1.

Vsmart products have passed nearly 2,500standard tests (including hardware tests, mechanical tests and software tests)at BQ’s laboratory (Spain) and Vsmart factory. In addition, Vsmart is tested inthe laboratories of Qualcomm, the best supplier of semiconductor chip in theworld today.

Vingroup expects Vsmart phones to start thedevelopment of an ecosystem of electronics, intelligent technology andAI-enabled devices that contribute to making life more convenient forVietnamese people. 

VinSmart is a member company of Vingroup - oneof Asia’s largest multidisciplinary private economic groups with a marketcapitalisation of nearly 16 billion VND.

The group operates in real estate, tourism,retail, health, education, agriculture and industry. VinSmart Company wasestablished in June 2018, with the goal of producing Vietnamese smartphones ofinternational standards.-VNS/VNA
