Vietnamese female martial artist Tran Thi Khanh Vy won a bronze medal at the Asian Karatedo Championships in Yokohama in Japan. Vy defeated Chinese Taipei's Tsui-Ping Ku 5-0 in the third-place playoff match of the women's 50kg combat category. On the way to earning a bronze medal, Vy bested Indian Dropati and Priya Shankari of Malaysia, before losing to Ayaka Tadano of Japan.-VNA
