100 Vu A Dinh scholarships presented to Vietnamese students in Laos
The Vu A Dinh scholarships will be a great encouragement and motivation for Vietnamese students in Laos to grow further, said Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos Nguyen Minh Tam.

Vientiane (VNA)𒐪 – A ceremony was held at the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos on March 6 to present 100 scholarships worth totally 5,000 USD from the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund to Vietnamese students in Laos.
Speaking at the event, co-organised by the embassy, the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, the “For the Beloved Hoang Sa and Truong Sa” Club, and donors, former Vice State President and Chairwoman of the fund Truong My Hoa said that the fund, established in 1999, aims to support students from poor families who achieve outstanding academic performance.
She said she hopes the scholarship recipients will become good citizens, prosper their families and society, and serve as a bridge to continue preserving, connecting, and developing the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.
Hoa also wished that the Vietnamese community in Vientiane in particular, and in Laos in general will always support each other and work together to contribute to Laos’ development while always looking towards to their homeland.
Ambassador Nguyen Minh Tam expressed his gratitude to the fund for its continuous attention, support, and scholarships for Vietnamese students in Laos.
He affirmed that these scholarships will be a great encouragement and motivation for the students to grow further./.
