Ba Ria – Vung Tau (VNA) – The 5th ASEAN InlineFreestyle Skating Championship opened in Vung Tau city, the southern provinceof Ba Ria – Vung Tau on June 22.
The tournament brings together 120 skaters aged between 7 and 25 from Indonesia, theRepublic of Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, China and Vietnam.
They are competing in two main events namely Slalom and Roller Cross for 43sets of medals.
Eddie Chua, head of the International Federation of Roller Sports (FIRS) InlineFreestyle Technical Committee, said the tournament offers a chance for skatersto sharpen their skills and share experience.
