77 Vietnamese engineers receive ASEAN professional engineer certificates
The ASEAN Professional Engineer Registration Council of Vietnam under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) held a ceremony in Hanoi on December 18 to honour and award ASEAN Professional Engineer certificates to 77 Vietnamese engineers.

Hanoi (VNA)🦹 – The ASEAN Professional Engineer Registration Council of Vietnam under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) held a ceremony in Hanoi on December 18 to honour and award ASEAN Professional Engineer certificates to 77 Vietnamese engineers.
In his remark, Dr. Pham Ngoc Linh, Permanent Vice Chairman of the council and Vice Chairman of the VUSTA said that following the Party and State's policy on international integration, especially Vietnam’s engagement in ASEAN mechanisms, the VUSTA has joined the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations (AFEO), striving to become a dynamic and responsible member and proposing many initiatives to connect the domestic engineering community with the ASEAN and international ones.
Vice Chairman and General Secretary of the Vietnam Electricity Association Mai Quoc Hoi said that being recognised as an ASEAN professional engineer is a prestigious honour for an engineer and serves as motivation for Vietnamese engineers to continue improving themselves.
Certificated engineers are qualified to work across ASEAN countries without undergoing selection processes.
At the ceremony, 77 Vietnamese engineers were awarded certificates, badges, and ASEAN Professional Engineer cards.
To date, Vietnam has had 716 engineers recognised ASEAN professional engineers, most of them work in the fields of electricity, information technology, automation, and construction./.
