9th Hanoi Book Fair to take place in late September

The 9th Hanoi Book Fair will be held from September 27 -29 under the theme "Hanoi: Capital of Culture and Heroes - City for Peace".

Hanoi (VNA) – The 9th Hanoi Book Fair will be held from September 27 -29 under the theme "Hanoi: Capital of Cultu♋re and Heroes - City for Peace".

The event is among activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the capital's Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 – 2024), and the 35th anniversary of UNESCO's designation of Hanoi as a "City for Peace."
The fair is expected to feature 200-250 booths of domestic and international publishers, diplomatic organisations in Hanoi and representative offices of regional and international publishing associations. Initiated in 2014, the annual event aims to promote reading culture, encourage reading habits, and stimulate community reading movements to build a learning society. This year, various activities will take place at the fair including book display, book introduction, book launch, copyright transactions and exchanges, and cultural exchange programmes./.
