AEBF 13 to increase Asia-Europe trade ties

The 13 th Asia-Europe Business Forum (AEBF 13) is slated to take place in Laos’s capital Vientiane on November 4 and 5, wi💮th the focus on sustainably economic and business ties betweeღn the two regions, the organising board has said.

As much as 300 delegates representing leading businesses in thesectors of energy, logistics, mining, and banking are scheduled toparticipate in the event, which is on the threshold of the 9 thAsia-Europe Summit Meeting.

During the course ofsix sessions, the delegates will put on table a wide range of issues,such as growth prospects of Asia and Europe, challenges of theenvironment and food security, effectively management of naturalresources and inter-regional connectivity.

The forum is expected to get foreign businesses updated on the host’s investment environment, especially in the agriculture sector, which is of Laos’s strength, said the organiser.

Up till now, all preparations for AEBF 13 have been completed.-VNA
