- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his Kyrgyz counterpart Adylbek Kasymaliev visited the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace in Hanoi on March 7 within the framework of the latter’s official visit to Vietnam.

Previously, Adylbek Kasymaliev laid a wreath in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum. Read full story
- A Vietnamese inter-agency delegation led by Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Nguyen Van Hoi attended a session for defending reports on the implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) at the UN headquarters in Geneva on March 6.
In his opening remarks, Hoi stated that Vietnam’s Party and State highly prioritise the rights of the group as seen in the implementation of a system of support policies to ensure favourable conditions for the disabled to equally exercise political, economic, cultural, and social rights while bringing into play their capabilities to stabilise their lives and integrate into society as in line with the CRPD, to which Vietnam is a party. - The disbursed investment from the State budget is estimated at 37.9 trillion VND (1.48 billion USD) in February, up 36.5% from the same period last year, reported the National Statistics Office (NSO) under the Ministry of Finance.
The sum comprises 5.5 trillion VND from the central budget and 32.4 trillion VND from local budgets, respectively growing 20.1% and 39.8%. Read full story
- Vietnam's pepper export value surged by 52% in the first two months of 2025, despite a 9.4% decline in export volume.
According to the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association, the country exported 28,000 tonnes of pepper during this period, generating an impressive revenue of 188.7 million USD. Read full story
- Viettel High Tech Industries Corporation, a member of Viettel Group, and its strategic partner High Cloud Technologies (HCT) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Emirates Integrated Telecommunications (DU) at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona 2025, marking the firm’s commitment to cooperate in deploying, testing, and commercialising 5G solutions in the Middle East.

In the initial phase, the focus will be on testing Viettel High Tech’s advanced 5G solutions on DU’s cutting-edge network, with two key components - a 5G OpenRAN public network and a 5G Private network. These 5G innovations aim to meet the growing demand for higher network capacity and faster data speeds while laying the foundation for ground-breaking applications such as smart cities, Virtual/Augmented Reality (VR/AR), and Industrial Internet of Things (IoT). The video, part of the 2025 tourism stimulus programme launched by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism with the theme "Vietnam: Go to love!” takes viewers on a journey to explore iconic destinations across Vietnam’s three regions - the north, central, and south.
