All activities in Hoang Sa, Truong Sa without permission violate Vietnam’s sovereignty: Spokeswoman

Hanoi (VNA) - Foreign MinistrySpokeswoman Le Thi Thu Hang reiterated Vietnam’s consistent view that allactivities in Vietnam’s Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) without its permissionviolate the country’s sovereignty over the two archipelagos.
Hang made the statement on August 31 when answering reporters’query about Vietnam’s response to China informing that it conducted militarydrills and missile firing in the East Sea, including the Hoang Sa and Truong Saarchipelagos of Vietnam.
“Such activities are not conducive to peace, stability,order, security, safety, freedom of aviation and navigation in the East Sea,”she asserted.

An exhibition titled “Hoang Sa, Truong Sa of Vietnam: Historical and legal evidence” opened at a high school of the Mekong Delta province of Long An on September 9.
A mobile exhibition giving visitors an insight into the historical and legal evidence proving Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos was opened in Huong Hoa district, the central province of Quang Tri on July 1.
Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Le Thi Thu Hang highlighted Vietnam’s viewpoint that all activities in its Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos without permission of the country are void and not conducive to peace, security and stability in the East Sea, and that Vietnam resolutely protests those.
Vietnam has affirmed many times and reiterated that the Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos are inseparable parts of its territory, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang has said.
The trip will be made at the invitations of Chinese Premier Li Qiang and WEF President and CEO Børge Brende, according to an announcement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
