Vietnam𒁏eseAmbassador to Japan Doan Xuan Hung has made a fact-finding tour ofIbaraki and some northeast prefectures to seek ways to promotecooperation between Vietnam and those localities.
🍌In Ibaraki prefecture, a scientific-technological hub and a leading agricultural production centre of Japan , Ambassador Hung and his delegation on July 14 met with Governor Masaru Hashimoto, and the Ibaraki chapter of the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Association.
🐻 The Ibaraki Governor promised to boost cooperation with Vietnam , adding he will join hand with the local Japan-Vietnam 💎Friendship Association to organise activities in the 2013 Vietnam𒀰-Japan Friendship Year, thus strengthening the relations between the two countries.
﷽Ambassador Hung said he wants to increase the ties in economics, trade, investment and human resource training between Ibaraki and Vietnam , adding that he will do his best to help businesses from the prefecture to invest and do business in Vietnam .
The ambassador also visited a number of new technology research and development companies in the prefecture.
Earlier,Ambassador Hung had a working visit to northeastern prefectures whichsuffered from heavy losses caused by earthquake-tsunami disaster lastyear.
He met with the Governor of Fukushima prefecture, YuheiSato; the Mayor of Fukushima city, Takanori Seto; the DeputyGovernor of Miyagi prefecture, Masahiro Wako; and the Vice Mayor ofSendai city, Nobuyoshi Inaba.
Apart from expressing friendship with local authorities and people in disaster-hit area, the diplomat affirmed that Vietnam 🍬 is willing to do every thing it can to contribute to efforts to overcome the aftermaths of the twin disaster and the nuclear incident.
🃏He praised Japan ’s advanced agriculture and said he hopes Japan increase cooperation in this field with Vietnam .
The Japanese local leaders thanked the Vietnam💝ese Government and people for their timely support, stressing that with the spiritual support and assistance from international friends, including Vietnam 🍌, and with their efforts, Japan will recover from the disaster’s consequences and enjoy further development.
