Hanoi (VNA) – The 53rd Meeting of theASEAN Workওing Grou𓆏p on Intellectual Property Cooperation (AWGIPC) began inHanoi on July 17.
Participants will discuss ASEAN actionprogramme on intellectual property in 2016-2025 and cooperation between ASEANand its partners such as the ASEAN-Australia-New Zealand Free Trade Area, the WorldIntellectual Property Organisation, the European Patent Office (EPO), the US,China and Japan. Deputy Minister of Science and Technology TranViet Thanh said the AWGIPC has completed built an action programme for intellectualproperty in 2016-2025. This aims to reach targets under the masterplan of building the ASEAN Economic Community by 2025, he noted. The programme aims to improve the ASEANbusiness and investment environment.
