The closed-door session is part of the Association of Southeast AsianNations (ASEAN) Finance Ministers’ Meeting taking place in Indonesiafor April 7-8.

Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono,Managing Director of the World Bank Sri Mulyani Indrawati andrepresentatives from the International Monetary Fund and the AsianDevelopment Bank are scheduled to attend the plenary session on April 8.

Participantswill discuss and give proposals relating to handling emerging economicissues as well as the plan to establish a single market in the region.

Speakingin Jakarta, Indonesian Finance Minister Agus Martowardpjo affirmed thatas ASEAN Chair 2011, Indonesia is interested in the capital flow intoASEAN countries, food security, taxation and the process of building theASEAN Economic Community./.
