General Chakthip Chaijinda, deputy national police chief, made the statement after returning home from Malaysia where three suspects, including two Malaysians and one Pakistani, had been arrested.
Thai police has identified records of the suspect but revealed no detailed information, he said, adding that the yellow-shirt guy had entered Thailand multiple times, using Chinese passport.
He said that the key suspect of the blast is believed to come from "Uyghur" ethnic minority in China’s Xinjiang.
